  1. Ya I have.. Both steamroom and sauna. Although they give relief it seem only to be short lived. I've seen people bring albas oil into the sauna, put some in the water and throw it over the coals.Wont do any harm but it probably wont "cure" the sinus. What are you taking for the allergies?I'm guessing Clarytin,Piriton or one of these? If you are visiting sauna and steamroom, I am wondering if you are also swimming? As I find when I have allergies the chlorine sometimes makes me more congested. There is a nasal wash, not the Most pleasant!..but it helps to clear sinuses,I know a few people who found it great. Meanwhile try the sauna, with some albas oil poured in the water thats put on the coals I Have definitely gotten relief from that Bear in mind that sometimes sinus can be a sinus infection which requires antibiotics so keep an eye on it..It should clear up soon as I'm sure you're only too aware by now its often connected to rainy weather etc Best wishes
  2. yes it certainly works. I have tried this, and it didnt fully get rid of the headache and pains, but the pressure in my ears and nose went away and I felt much better as I was able to breath deeply naturally....I looked it up and it is good for you, something to do with steam nuteralising the ph in the sinuses....this might sond wierd, but I had a candida infection..and the acute symptoms similar to what youa re describing were caused by the die off (look up candida die off, it is identical to flu)...I had the msot awful eczema and I was convinced and my sinuses were always blocked, I was convinced I was allergic to almost everything....I'll let you do your own research, but if you can get some coconut oil, put some on a cotton bud and rub the insides of your nostrils with it and sniff it in, almost immediately the pain will subside...if this happens, I suggest you dig further on the candida thing, if not by all means the steam room wll be great for you initself...Just from personal experience, I never used to be into the whole herbal hocus pocus but I swear it worked!! Goodluck
