  1. they need to be extracted. try getting a back facial if that's where they are. they will steam your back, exfoliate it, do extractions, put a mask on it, and it will be all sexy and new. and it feels good too!
  2. No they can't. You need specialist treatments to clean out your pores.
  3. Of course you can... but i you buy a good loofa and use it every day... you'll see a difference after about 2 - 3 weeks... they wont be as obvious and not as red... worked for me anyways...
  4. POSITIVELY YES. Sauna will help - a lot. The heat kills the bacteria that is associated with blackheads and acne overall. Without killing 'good' cells in your body. The sweating process opens and irrigates the pores - releasing toxins and bacteria that cause outbreaks. If you can get into a sauna - do it as often as possible. As for a steam room, the moisture will help to, uh, moisturize your skin. You do sweat, with the same benefits as above, but the steam may actually reduce how much perspiration is able to exit the body, reducing the effectiveness of the heat. However, either one helps to open and irrigate pores by inducing perspiration. So, most certainly. Stay away from the chemicals, hon. Please. NOTE: Sauna and steam rooms can be harmful for people with heart problems. It increases your heart rate. Pay attention to how you feel. If you start to feel lightheaded or anything other than healthy, slowly move out of the sauna/steam room and cool your body back down. Keyword: Slowly.
  5. The steam room will help opening your pores. After 15 minutes in the steam room, use an exfoliation aid such as Beauty Cloth Exfolia to cleanse and exfoliate your skin. There are also some exfoliation gels that you can get to use with the cloth that will also help getting rid of those blackheads. After doing the exfoliation use a body splash, or something with alcohol, as an astringent to close the pores again. Otherwise they are open and susceptible to get filled up with blackheads again.
  6. This is a very good way of cleansing the skin as it brings out all the dirt from your pores. After, rub down with a good rough towel. Do the sauna once a week.
  7. Have you tired exfoliating your skin with body scrubs? They are an excellent way to slough off dead skin which in turn helps to clear blocked pores, also body scrubs are excellent for circulation, which in turn helps your skin looking and feeling healthy, drink plenty of water a day, because not only does your body need it, it de toxifies and rehydrates your skin. On average you hould drink, at least a litre and a half of fresh water a day. If you are using a steam room or sauna, remember, you need to drink plenty afterwards.
